DIAMOND BUSINESS ASSOCIATION, INC.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Diamond Business Association, Inc. (“DBA”) dba Southeastern Diamond Business Association is accepting proposals from CPA firms to provide audit and tax services. The Diamond Business Association requires the following:

A financial audit for FY 2014 (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014), and

Appropriately filed state and federal taxes for FY 2014
We invite your firm to submit a proposal by August 8, 2014 for consideration.
The DBA is a business improvement district that was re-established in 2012, and commenced formal business operations in July 2013. The requisite state and federal tax reports were filed for FY 2013. The DBA’s mission is to enhance the growth and development of the Diamond Business Improvement District (BID) as well as the surrounding community of Southeastern San Diego, as an international marketplace; and to create partnerships between business, property owners, and public and private entities that promote continuous economic revitalization and renewal in the community served by the DBA. The DBA is a 501 (c) (6) non-profit corporation. During the FY 2014 time frame, DBA records revenue in the amount of $76,492.
Services to be performed:
Your proposal should cover the following services:

An annual audit of DBA for FY 2014.

State and Federal tax filings for DBA for FY 2014.
Your response to the Request for Proposal:
In responding to this RFP, we request that you provide the following information:

Detail your firm’s experience in providing auditing, tax, and bookkeeping services to companies in the not-for-profit sector, as well as associations of comparable size and scope to DBA, and, most particularly, to other business improvement districts/business associations.

Describe how your firm will approach the audit of the DBA. Desired audit completion date: September 30, 2014.

Set forth your fee proposal for the FY 2014 audit and tax filings.
