New Associate Members: Tracy & Derrick Montgomery

Montgomery’s House Catering

Derrick and Tracy Montgomery relocated from San Francisco to San Diego in 2000 as part of the Pastors to Pioneer OMEGA Ministries Christian Fellowship. In 2005, they started their own business, Montgomery’s House Catering. The Montgomery’s vision is to get the family back to the dinner table without any distractions (cell phones, iPads, TV, etc.), talking with family and friends, and being able to unwind from a long stressful day.

Having been married for over 23 years, Derrick and Tracy quickly figured out their roles as business partners. While Derrick prepares the meals, Tracy takes care of public relations, networking, accounting, and even fills in as Derrick’s sous chef whenever needed.

Derrick and Tracy decided to re-structure their catering business after Derrick completed his culinary training. In September 2015, the Montgomery’s re-launched Montgomery’s House Catering to include offering personal chef services and a monthly food tasting event with the concept of gourmet home cooked meals within a stress free environment.

Currently, the Montgomery’s are a home-based business with the hopes of opening their own storefront restaurant in the near future. The Montgomery’s are searching a facility where they can impact youth with a back-on-track program to show a positive and constructive way to be creative and bring joy to others through the exciting art of food.

Derrick and Tracy have 4 kids and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way.
