Live, Love, Laugh, Learn
Have you noticed the new banners recently installed on Euclid Avenue (between Imperial Avenue & Naranja Street)? These banners were made possible thanks to a generous donation from the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.
Not only do we need positive images in communities of concern, we also need positive words that speak to our spirits directly. Sometimes, in this complicated world we live in, we need simplicity to balance our lives. LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH, LEARN are things we all strive for regardless of our socioeconomic situations. The goal is to have those words everywhere we look.
You might recognize these four words from another location in the Diamond District. The San Diego Museum of Art installed “Live, Love, Laugh, Learn” on the side of Greene Cat Liquor store. Before Green Cat Liquor decided to enter into a long-term lease with 7-Eleven, they were participating in the City of San Diego’s Storefront Improvement Program.
