A Groundbreaking Ceremony took place on Monday February 24th, for the long-awaited Walgreens in Southeast San Diego. The new Walgreens will be located on the northwest corner of Market Street and Euclid Avenue and is expected to open by Fall of this year. Walgreens has committed to hiring locally for both the dozens of jobs in construction and the 50 to 60 employees once it opens.
