Request for Proposal – Graphic Design 2018 Diamond Street Festival

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

This Request for Proposal is issued by the Diamond Business Association, Inc. dba Southeastern Diamond Business District for the competitive selection of Graphic Designer for the Fourth Annual Diamond Street Festival.

Introduction
On August 12, 2017, the Diamond Business Association held its Third Annual Diamond Street Festival on Imperial Avenue to celebrate the history, diverse cultures and unique energy of the people of Southeastearn San Diego. The event was attended by over 5,000 local residents, businesses and people of the County of San Diego. The Diamond Street Festival consisted of booths for local businesses and organizations to sell traditional foods and beverages; booths to sell all types of products; booths for non-profit organizations to provide information.  The festival also includes a Kids Zone and a Custom Car Show.

Services to be performed
The following event collateral was designed and created for 2017.  We would like to keep the general theme of the design. Your proposal should cover, at a minimum, the design and creation of the following marketing pieces:

1. Update Third Annual Diamond Street Festival theme design;
2. Save the Date postcard;
3. Sponsorship Opportunities Package (4 pages);
4. Media Sponsorship Package (1 page);
5. Vendor Application;
6. Diamond Street Festival Postcard Design;
7. Diamond Street Festival Poster (11”x17”)
8. T-Shirt Design;
9. Social media platform images;
10. Updates to social media platform images and postcards;
11. Ad design for up to 3 media outlets (print/online);
12. Car Show Poster;
13. Car Show Postcard;
14. Car Show Card Show Entry Form;
15. Banners 4’x6’ for street promotion;
16. Event Program;
17. Event Program Posters; and
18. Any other small collateral incidental pieces needed.

Payment Terms
Progressive payment terms beginning with initial payment upon contract and two subsequent equal payments with the final payment payable the day of the event, August 11, 2018.

Your response to the Request for Proposal
In responding to this RFP, we request that you provide the following information:

1. Detail your firm’s experience in art direction, design, and production with organizations hosting festivals.
2. Set forth your fee proposal for the art direction, design, layout and production of the Diamond Street Festival.
