Request for Proposal – Graphic Designer for Second Annual Diamond Street Festival

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

This Request for Proposal is issued by the Diamond Business Association, Inc. (“DBA”) dba Southeastern Diamond Business Association for the competitive selection of Graphic Designer for the Second Annual Diamond Street festival.

Introduction: On September 19, 2015, the Diamond Business Association held it’s first Diamond Street Festival on Market Street to celebrate the history, diverse cultures and unique energy of the people of Southeast San Diego. The event was attended by over 5,000 local residents, businesses and people of the County of San Diego. The Diamond Street Festival consisted of booths for local businesses and organizations to sell traditional foods and beverages; booths to sell all types of products; booths for non‐profit organizations to provide information. The festival also include a Kids Zone and a Custom Car Show.

Services to be performed:
The following event collateral was designed and created for 2015. We would like to keep the general theme of design. Your proposal should cover, at minimum, the design and creation of the following marketing pieces:

1. Update First Annual Diamond Street Festival theme design;
2. Save the Date Postcard;
3. Sponsorship Opportunities Package (4 pages);
4. Diamond Street Festival Postcard Design;
5. Diamond Street Festival Poster (11”x17”)
6. Social media platform Images;
7. Updates to social media platform images, postcards and postcards;
8. Vendor Application;
9. T‐Shirt Design;
10. Car Show Poster;
11. Car Show Postcard;
12. Card Show Entry Form;
13. Ad design for up to 3 media outlets (print/online);
14. Media Sponsorship Package; and
15. Any other small collateral incidental pieces needed.

Payment Terms: Progressive payment terms beginning with initial payment upon acceptance of proposal and three to four subsequent equal payments with the final payment payable the day of the event, July 16, 2016.

Your response to the Request for Proposal:
In responding to this RFP, we request that you provide the following information:

1. Detail your firm’s experience in art direction, design and production with organizations hosting festivals.
2. Set forth your fee proposal for the art direction, design, layout and production of the Second Annual Diamond Street Festival.
